| FUND RAISING NEEDS: Our fund raising initiative continues to move forward, with long meetings and the writing of proposals. All assistance is appreciated! Our funding needs include: *************************************************************** Title: "Newsletter Production" Cost: $25 per month Sponsors This: The costs of photography, printing, and mailing of our quarterly newsletter, "News & Views." Pledging an additional $25 can help offset petition signature costs at events! *************************************************************** Title: “Website Development" Cost: $125 per month Sponsors This: The costs of monthly website management and upkeep, plus development of an interactive website so we can broaden our adoptions, legislative work, news alerts, and more! *************************************************************** Title: "Animal Awareness Days" Cost: $300 per visit Sponsors This: An educational school visit about Mighty Mite and animal awareness, including the purchase of 20 books, "The Dog Who Couldn't Wag His Tail," given to the students and their school library. ***************************************************************  Title:
“Search & Rescue Horse"Cost: $600 per month Sponsors This: The training, equipping, and upkeep of a single animal which can be kept "on call" for Search & Rescue emergencies. This animal WILL NOT be purchased. In keeping with the AWP mission, it will be rescued, trained, and permanently owned by the AWP, so we will always know its' future. Our goal is to have at least two horses permanently available to the public as community servants. These horses will also be made available for visits and exhibitions, as AWP ambassadors. |
