What is the Animal Welfare Project?
We are not accepting animals until our facility
and funding are in place.
THE ANIMAL WELFARE PROJECT will provide a community service
while helping unwanted animals.

Rather than simply destroy an overwhelming population of excess animals,
the idea is to instead turn them into a valuable community asset.
By using professional trainers, veterinarians, and behaviorists, all
homeless animals will be welcomed, cleaned up, and closely evaluated
for their innate abilities. Then those abilities will be cultivated.

BARK IN THE PARK
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a huge success.
We couldn't have done it without the help of our AWP volunteers, various
demonstrators and the wonderful people who brought their dogs out
for this worthwhile cause.
AWP Mission:
Our Mission is to build a safe haven that acts as a professional re-training
center for homeless horses and dogs. They will be returned to the
community as pets, sporting competitors, or work in Community Service.
The Animal Welfare Project is
a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization and relies upon public donations
to fund our missions. No members or officers receive monetary compensation,
nor does the organization use paid professional fundraisers. All
proceeds from donations and merchandise sales go directly toward
our efforts. The official registration and financial information
of the Animal Welfare Project may be obtained from the Pennsylvania
Department of State by calling toll-free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999.
Registration does not imply endorsement.
